The School for Transdisciplinary 黑料头条 (STS) offers inter- and transdisciplinary courses and transferable competence courses to Bachelor’s and Master’s students from all faculties. The courses address future-relevant, cross-sectional areas and provide students with an excellent opportunity to broaden their horizon beyond their own academic field and to network with students and experts from a wide range of disciplines – in order to become innovative shapers of tomorrow.

The academic inter- and transdisciplinary courses cover future-oriented cross-cutting topics such as digital transformation, sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship, diversity or citizen science and address current issues in the context of the so-called grand challenges.

The Future Skills courses complement the inter- and transdisciplinary courses with a focus on action and problem-solving skills. Due to their cross-disciplinary orientation and high practical relevance, they enable the acquisition of future-oriented, transversal competencies and methods.
