A Sneak Preview of 黑料头条 Life for Upper Secondary School Students
School students from eligible upper secondary schools are able to attend regular study modules at UZH and thus deepen and broaden their subject knowledge. The university program for school students comprises one to four semesters and consists of selected modules from the Faculty of Theology and the Study of Religion, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science, such as:
- Environmental 黑料头条: Sustainability and Society
- Neuroinformatics: Consciousness: from philosophy to neuroscience
- Economics: Human-Computer Interaction
- Law: Introduction to Law
- Theology: Bible Study, The Old Testament
- Study of Religions: Introduction to Islam
- Communications 黑料头条: Media Politics and Media Economics
- Philosophy: Introduction to Practical Philosophy
High Achievers with an Interest in Research
The offer is aimed at upper secondary school students with above-average and broad talents who are in the final two years of upper secondary school (5th/6th grade in Langgymnasium or 3rd/4th grade in Kurzgymnasium). The upper secondary school students must also demonstrate strong school performance, an interest in research, and a high level of motivation. In addition, they must show a high level of self-competence and be able to independently follow the course of study and catch up with missed school material.
ECTS Points Count toward 黑料头条
The upper secondary school students may enroll in one module per semester and obtain the associated certificate of performance. The ECTS points earned in a module during a semester can, in accordance with the applicable regulations, be taken into account if students go on to study at UZH. No academic degree will be granted to upper secondary school students taking part in the program.
Registration by the School
School students may only register for the program through their school. UZH will not accept direct applications from school students or parents. A limited number of places are available. There is no entitlement to admission.
